An all-time first for Lough Key and for one weekend only, the mighty Moylurg Tower that stands over the foundations of the old Rockingham House will come alive with the screams of thrill seekers as we offer adventurers the one-off Moylurg abseil and zip wire. At 30m high, the Tower not only commands stunning views across the Lough and Forest, we’ve discovered it provides a jaw-dropping abseil too!

Our 150m zip wire will also run from the top of the Tower. Catapulting you to speeds in excess of 40mph, you will leave the top of the tower and hurtle along the steel tensioned cable, before coming to rest back down on Terra Firma.

Both activities can be booked in advance (recommended).

All equipment provided. No special skills required. There is no limit on height/ weight or age of participants but they must be able to understand instructions and control the descent. This is a challenging abseil descent and careful thought should be given to whether it is suitable for your child.

We will have slots for 8 people to abseil and 8 people to zip wire every hour, starting every hour from 10am. Pre-booking is recommended.
